Aigua de Vilajuïga spring flows at the foot of Verdera Mountains, which is part of Cap de Creus Massif, where the Romanesque Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes lies. Both the source and the bottling plant are located at the heart of Vilajuïga in a plot of land with beautiful gardens in the Empordà plain. |

The company was founded in 1904 by six families from Empordà. It was certified as being medicinal mineral water and of public usefulness by a Royal Decree in July 15 1904. So 2004 marked its centenary as did Salvador Dalí's birthday centenary. For the most universal man in Empordà, Aigua de Vilajuïga was his favourite. It was awarded the Honour Diploma at the Barcelona Universal Exhibition held in 1929 for its excellent quality and characteristics. |

The company has recently undergone a change of shareholders. While remaining faithful to the foundation spirit, a new image and a new bottle have been introduced which mirror the commitment between the traditional quality of our incomparable water and a modernised presentation which is more suitable to the present needs.
